A great turnout for the Switch On night and the weather kindly gave us a quick thaw which made the final push by the Elves and the Switch On much better. Bob McCreadie did his usual magnificent job and the long awaited Twelve Drummers Drumming made its debut as planned. There was terrific Samba beats which had the crowd moving along as well, and the Samba band then escorted Santa to his keen audience. Unfortunately the good weather only held for an hour or so after Switch On so many people had to postpone their tour of the further lights.
