Flooding could be a thing of the past
Thursday, November 05, 2009, 10:30Problems
in the underground drainage system have regularly left the road outside
Atlantic Motors under several inches of water following heavy rain.But following a recent survey, officials say they have found the culprit.
A
spokesman for the council said: "In addition to the jetting and
flushing works previously carried out, a further detailed examination
has now been completed."This has identified a
crushed pipe which requires excavation and repair which will now be
undertaken at the earliest opportunity.TIN.adverts.adWriteDC('article-detail-impact-tile', '452x118');
"The council apologises for any inconvenience caused."
