The top two teams in the division met each other with leaders Flanagans A coming from 4-1 down to beat the Star Penzance B, 7-5. S Minister hit eight tons and was the only singles winner for the Star. Astro B got back to winning ways after a 9-3 victory against Astro Arrows, who now drop to the foot of the table. Station House moved up to fourth place after winning 9-3 at Astro Legionaires with G Pelling hitting 11 tons. Angarrack drop to fifth after losing 7-5 to the White Lion B, moving them up a place. Trevelyan B got their second win of the season and are still level on points with the White Lion after a fine win over RAOB C, whose D Turner hit seven tons. ● The Astro Park's singles knockouts continue on Friday evenings, with an 8pm start, they will continue until the winter season commences. Entry will be £3, with prize money from the semi-finals upwards.
