Police cars in west Cornwall are now equipped with life-saving defibrillators - thanks to the latest donation from a local charity.
Officers across the Duchy now have 23 of the machines that deliver an electric shock to restart someone's heart. read more »

Hayle Town Council and Cornwall Council would like to see higher quality development coming forward in Hayle.
To help achieve this a masterplan is being prepared which offers the opportunity for the Town Council, Hayle residents and Cornwall Council to take a proactive approach to how it believes development in this area should come forward. read more »

A training session has been arranged for 6pm on Friday 12th July 2019 at the community centre

2019 Defibrillator update
Defibrillators are most effective when placed so they can be accessed as quickly as possible, and ideally within 3 minutes.With the village having two hills and a long road along the river, that's a challenge with a single defibrillator. So the defibrillator team has been working on getting more defibrillators to cover the village.
They've managed to access enough funding to get three more defibrillators for the village.
Further to last year's meeting, the intent was to have one at the Community Centre, and another near the viaduct on Riverside with the location of the 4th machine to be decided at the meeting. They all need an electrical connection to keep them charged. read more »
