Tides and Trains | Moving Around - Hayle Pump
Spotted in the April/May 2012 Hayle Pump an ingenious idea
This matrix has been designed by our new Desktop Publisher Luca Angius aka Dhyano and modified for the benefit of Hayle Pump readers.
It's based on the idea that maybe not everybody needs to know the exact time and the height of both high and low tide, as shown in any normal Tide Times.
How does it work?
It shows what time the tide is OUT in a given day.
The high tide is approximately 6 hours after.April is the light grey circle and May is a bit darker. The number of the day is placed in the point of the 24 hours clock that shows the time of the low water. In the external white circle are shown train times from Hayle. What do you think about it? Let us know at dtp@haylepump.org.uk
