Electricity in Gwinear

The village of Gwinear, one of the last villages In West Cornwall to be without gas or electricity. although within a short distance of the power station at Hayle, was connected with on Friday. About 90% of the village's 150 inhabitants were connected, and also many of the surrounding farms where electrical milking machines and agricultural equipment have been fitted.
