A coroner will take three days to investigate the death of a four-week-old boy who died last year after suffering serious injuries at his home in St Blazey and whose father killed himself while under suspicion of his murder. The inquest of Cooper Eddie Johnson-Hicks will get under way at 10am in Truro on Monday (August 7) and senior coroner for Cornwall Emma Carlyon is expected to deliver her conclusions on Wednesday. Police have confirmed that a man was tragically killed on the railway tracks near Exeter earlier today (Sunday August 6). Devon Live reported earlier today that the British Transport Police had been called to the line at Clapperbrook Crossing near Exeter at 8.37am, after a man was hit by a train.
