Debenhams and other high quality retailers have announced plans for new stores in Hayle, creating hundreds of new jobs and improving the retail offer in West Cornwall. It is part of a £35 million proposal that is being promoted by Cranford Developments, to be built next to the existing West Cornwall Shopping Park. Transport and environmental improvements are also proposed, including an enhanced County Wildlife Site. Before the plans are submitted to Cornwall Council, we would welcome your comments and views. Next Steps We will review all the feedback we receive from local people before submitting a planning application y the end of the year. If approved, we would hope to start work in Summer 2014 with the retails stores set to open in Autumn 2015. |
