Boris Johnson says there are signs of a COVID-19 ‘second wave’ as he defends new travel rules
The prime minister defended the 14-day quarantine for travellers returning to the UK from Spain, saying that the threat of a second wave of COVID-19 in Europe is likely. Many have criticised the government’s new travel rules, with Heathrow Airport calling for the government to adapt a passenger testing regime in the UK and others arguing the rules could slow international air travel growth.
