Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessments around Angarrack

According to Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessments - http://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/planning/planning-po...

The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA) is essentially a study of potential housing sites in Cornwall. It is important to understand that the SHLAA does not allocate land but is an important piece of evidence that will help the Council in deciding the best sites to meet our housing need in the most sustainable way.

The 2013 SHLAA forms part of the evidence base for the Local Plan. It replaces the 2011 SHLAA and contains the most up to date information about housing sites available at the current time. The SHLAA also contains information about the Council's housing land supply.

The primary role of the Assessment was to:

  • Identify sites with potential for housing
  • Assess their housing potential
  • Assess when they were likely to be developed.
Site maps: The maps for all the sites included in the SHLAA are available by selecting the Environment folder and then turn on the SHLAA layers. To find details of the site number and location click on the site on the map
