The price of strawberries and raspberries could soar as farmers find it hard to attract fruit pickers as Brexit begins.
Now farmers are calling for a scheme to recruit migrant workers to be reintroduced to try and alleviate the problem.
A report commissioned by the Trade body British Summer Fruits suggests UK soft fruit prices could rise by up to 50% if producers are unable to attract seasonal workers from the EU in the future.

Biker rushed to Derriford Hospital after collision with car at...
A motorcyclist has been hospitalised after a collision with a car in Torpoint.
Devon and Cornwall Police has confirmed that the male biker, who is now being treated at Derriford Hospital, sustained "minor fractures" in the crash.
His injuries, according to the force, are fortunately not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

The European funding has been granted after two years of bidding to secure the money.

Camborne man to appear before Truro Magistrates Court charged...
A man from Camborne will appear before Truro Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with attempted murder following an incident yesterday.
Officers were called to an address in the town on Friday evening following reports of a disturbance, which was ongoing when they arrived.
One man was arrested, and has subsequently been charged with attempted murder.
No further details are available at present.

Several 'No overnight camping' signs have been put up by Cornwall Council after concerns raised by residents about rough sleepers in the area.
Ten or so of these signs have been spotted on a grass verge on the way into the west Cornwall town since last Thursday. For a while now it has been noticed that tents have been pitched out of sight behind bushes by some homeless people.

Cornwall gave Sir Tom Jones, who has played to some of the biggest stadiums around the globe, a warm welcome as he kicked off his latest tour at a more unusual location.
The Sex Bomb star was part of this summer's brand new Bands In The Sands series of gigs at Perranporth beach.

Police warning issued over fake Bank of Ulster notes in Padstow,...
Police are warning people to be aware of fake bank notes being used across parts of north Cornwall.
The fakes, which appear to be 'Bank of Ulster' £20 and £50 notes, have been used in a number of locations in Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow, and all bear the same serial number - D1233901.
Police say the people using the notes are believed to have Irish accents, and are urging anyone who is handed a fake to contact officers immediately.

Falmouth fire crew blocked on narrow road urge drivers to think...
Firefighters in Falmouth have urged drivers to think before they park after one of their engines got stuck on a narrow street yesterday.
The crew posted two images of themselves left with just a few centimetres to spare as they make their way down a town centre street between cars parked on either side of the road.

Shoppers were left stunned, and cyclists were left with some serious saddle-sores, after Exeter's annual nude cycle ride yesterday.
A procession of naked bikers made their way through the city's streets for the sixth year running as part of a series of similar events held across the globe.
The event is designed to raise awareness of cycling safety - but it is fair to say it raised more eyebrows than anything else.

Nine arrested after 95 mile chase along M5 and M4 following...
Nine people are being questioned by police today after a 95 mile police chase along two motorways.
Officers from four separate police forces, including Devon & Cornwall, as well as a police helicopter chased two vans following a ram raid in Exeter late on Saturday night.
The vans, which are believed to have been stolen, were used to ram a commercial unit at the Newton Centre on Thorverton Road, Exeter at 9.30pm, according to
