A 51-year-old London man has admitted causing the death of a woman walking in a lane near Wadebridge. Jonathan Kane pleaded guilty to causing Kate Bailey's death by careless driving at St Minver. A member of the public called police just before 4.45am on July 19 of last year following the discovery of a woman's body on Trewiston Lane at St Minver. A Newquay man has been found guilty of murdering a two-year-old boy by punching or kicking him in the stomach in a loss of temper. Joseph Eke, 22, inflicted the fatal injuries on May 26 last year when he had been left alone with Harry House at their family home in Broadmayne, Dorset, for a few minutes while the child's mother popped to the shops.
