Very Noisy, loose drain cover, 1st April
There is a loose/defective drain cover on Cooperage Road, Trewoon, located by the bus stop almost opposite the junction with St Mewan Lane.
Every time a vehicle passes over it, it creates a loud banging/clanking noise. This happens constantly throughout the day and night and is causing significant disturbance to nearby residents.
The issue has already been reported but remains unresolved.
The cover appears to be moving under traffic, so this may also present a potential safety risk if it worsens or becomes dislodged.
Please can this be inspected and repaired as a matter of urgency.
