Two people were airlifted to hospital after a car ploughed into a house in north Cornwall. The Mercedes CLK crashed into the garage of a home at St Teath at about 11am while the occupants were out.
Two of the five people in the black car were said to have been taken to hospital by the Cornwall Air Ambulance.
The garage of the detached home of a couple in their seventies just off the junction of the B3267 coming out of St Teath and the A39 was badly damaged.

Man arlifted from rocks at Perranporth and search for 'high risk'...
A casualty had to be airlifted from the beach after getting stuck on rocks. The coastguard helicopter was called in due to the location of the man at Perranporth Beach.
The coastguard teams cleared people from the area so that the Rescue 924 helicopter could land just after midday yesterday (July 8). He was winched to safety and returned to the beach.
The Newquay team was assisting the St Agnes Coastguard Search & Rescue Team at the scene.

Congestion is building up around the scene and there are knock-on effects with westbound traffic reportedly slow at Liskeard. Police have told the Plymouth Herald they believe there has been a fatality.
