Lifeboat crews were called out to help a 40-foot yacht which was disabled after a fishing net wrapped around its propeller off Perranporth. Newquay's RNLI lifeboat volunteers were called-out just after midday on Sunday (July 2), along with colleagues from Padstow lifeboat station, to assist a yacht which had four people onboard. An inquest will this month examine whether or not bullying was a factor in the death of a 16-year-old girl found hanged in toilets at her school. Dagmara Przybysz was found at Pool Academy on May 17, 2016, at around 2.15pm, but paramedics were unable to save her.
