The tragic death of a Saltash man who fell from the Tamar Bridge has renewed calls for suicide prevention barriers to be installed at the crossing.

A builder will have to pay back £80,000 after he was caught growing cannabis with a street value of tens of thousands of pounds by police officers investigating a road rage attack.
Police have branded Andrew MacDonald as a "lifestyle offender" and will seize the money after making a successful confiscation order under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Police find Redruth man Ashley Grenfell with James Bond style...
A man who was caught in possession of a James Bond style arsenal of weapons has been remanded in custody after admitting a raft of charges.
Ashley Grenfell, 30, from Close Hill in Redruth, appeared at Truro Crown court today and admitted three counts of being in possession of a prohibited firearm and three counts of being in possession of a disguised firearm.
A clearly agitated Grenfell spoke to confirm his name before the charges were read to him.
