A mother and daughter have defiantly declared that they will not pay an "unfair" parking fine handed to them both despite them not actually leaving their vehicles. Cheryl Parker and her daughter Danielle, visiting from Bath, drove from Four Lanes to Falmouth on Easter Saturday, entering the Maritime Museum car park around two minutes apart. The death of a St Austell hairdresser, was not 'directly associated' with breast augmentation surgery she had in the weeks before she died, an inquest has heard. Kandi du Cros, a 32-year-old mother, died of multiple organ failure caused by sepsis in January 2014, the coroner's court in Truro heard, as coroner Dr Emma Carlyon gave her verdict. Emergency services were called out to a Newquay beach on Wednesday morning after a woman suffered a leg injury. The air ambulance, coastguard, RNLI volunteers and land ambulance responded after receiving a call shortly after 11am reporting that a woman had injured her leg at low tide at Bedruthan Steps. An off-duty lifeguard came to the rescue of a surfer who was in difficulty in choppy waters off the coast of Padstow. RNLI lifeguard Andrew Miller was about to go for an early morning surf with a friend at Booby's Bay near Padstow when he spotted the surfer looking tired in rip currents.
