Faecal bacteria has been found on ice at major fast food chains including McDonald's, KFC and Burger King. Scientists sampled ice at 10 random branches of the eateries in the UK to test for coliforms that indicate products that have been contaminated by the bacteria. The investigation was carried out following the shocking results of BBC One's Watchdog investigation three weeks ago, which found "significant levels" of faecal bacteria on ice samples in three major coffee...

Bullying is making life hell for up to a third of kids in Cornwall who have revealed in a survey that they were sometimes too afraid to go to school for fear of being picked on. In a shocking study of secondary and primary school pupils, a quarter of young people who responded said that they had experienced bullying in the previous 12 months at or near their school. Cornish pasties at the Horse and Jockey Bakery in Porthleven were given a royal seal of approval by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall. Prince Charles gave a heart-warming speech to staff and patients at the new Macmillan Cove Centre during his visit to Royal Cornwall Hospital.
